Dynamo | Dash Youth - Yearly Membership Ticket Announcement 2019-20

Houston, Texas (September 3, 2019) – The Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club (HDDY), a nationally recognized premier soccer club for boys / girls is proud to announce that as the official partner of the Houston Dynamo (MLS) & Houston Dash (NWSL) all Dynamo | Dash Youth players will receive a FREE ticket to an upcoming regular season Dynamo or Dash game of their choice as part of their registration! The first eligible game is on Wednesday, September 11 when the Dynamo host Minnesota United.

Ticket redemptions are simple and convenient. Through an online ticketing platform, each family will be able to redeem their player ticket for up to as many kids as they have registered in the DDY program. Families can also purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate.

Additional Dynamo tickets are $15 for all games except LA Galaxy ($20) and all additional Dash tickets are $12.

Any families with more than four players in the program should contact Jay Adelberg directly to process their player tickets at (713) 276-7529 or jadelberg@houstondynamo.com.

Please note: All online ticket links close at 5:00pm two days prior to kickoff time. Tickets can still be acquired after the online window has closed by contacting Jay Adelberg directly (see information above).

Ticket FAQ:

Q: If I have multiple kids playing in Dynamo | Dash Youth, how can I redeem all their player tickets?
A: You can redeem up to four player tickets at once. The page will prompt you to put your players name and age in for verification.

Q: What if I have more than four kids playing in the program?
A: Please contact Jay in the sales office at 713-276-7529 or jadelberg@houstondynamo.com if you have more than four kids in the program and want to redeem your tickets.

Q: Can I redeem only the free player ticket without making a purchase?
A: Yes, you may redeem your free player ticket(s) without making an additional purchase.

Q: How can I make sure our team/group are all seated together?
A: There is an easy way to do this. When you make your purchase, you will be given a new unique link. If you send that link to your team members and they also use it to make their purchases, you will be seated together.

Q: What do I do if I need to purchase once the link for a certain game has closed?
A: The links close 48 hours before the game (i.e. Saturday game, link closes at 5pm Thursday) for processing of tickets. If you need to purchase after that time, please contact Jay Adelberg in the Dynamo & Dash sales office directly at 713-276-7529 or jadelberg@houstondynamo.com.

Q: When are the tickets I purchased delivered?
A: All tickets should be delivered 24 hours prior to the game.

Q: What if I need handicapped access seating?
A: Please contact Jay in the Dynamo & Dash sales office, 713-276-7529 or jadelberg@houstondynamo.com.

Q: If I have already redeemed my player tickets, can I still purchase tickets for additional games at the discounted rate on the landing page?
A: Absolutely! Just follow the same buying procedure. The system will not allow you to redeem additional player tickets.

Memorial Hermann Named Official Sports Medicine Partner With Dynamo | Dash Youth

HOUSTON (Aug. 2, 2019) – Memorial Hermann Health System (Memorial Hermann) has partnered with the Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club as its official sports medicine provider.

The Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club has more than 7,500 youth soccer players, and competes in 31 Houston-area facilities with more than 60 grass and synthetic turf soccer fields. The club currently has 145 highly qualified coaching and administrative staff to support its membership base which includes boys and girls of all ability levels from the ages of 3 to 18 years old.

“We’re honored to provide the Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club with convenient, expert sports medicine and orthopedic care throughout the Greater Houston area,” said Tim Couture, Vice President of the Orthopedic Service Line at Memorial Hermann. “We believe Memorial Hermann has the best resources to care for these athletes at the highest level from injury prevention to rehabilitation from unexpected injuries.”

Members of the club have access to individualized care and customized treatment and training programs delivered by Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute’s affiliated orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, nutritionists, exercise physiologists, biomechanists, strength and conditioning coaches and athletic trainers. The Institute is also home to concussion specialists who provide thorough evaluations and treatment for patients of all ages.

Members of the Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club’s West program will have access to the Memorial Hermann Sports Park-Katy, a new state-of-the-art sports medicine and human performance facility opening this fall on the campus of Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. The facility is a collaboration between Memorial Hermann and Athlete Training and Health (ATH) to provide a full range of medical care and athletic training for professional and youth athletes, and active adults.

Development Player League Expansion - Houston Dash Youth

THE DEVELOPMENT PLAYER LEAGUE ELECTS UNITED STATES SPECIALITY SPORTS ASSOCIATION ("USSSA") AS NATIONAL SANCTIONING BODY

Los Angeles, CA – USSSA is to sanction the nationwide Development Player League (DPL), allowing players to continue along a pathway set out by U.S. Soccer Federation. The DPL is a supplement league assisting clubs across the country that compete at the highest level of the sport, primarily in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy for Girls.

Slated to start play in September 2019, the DPL Schedule will allow players to continue playing high school soccer while developing their technical and tactical skills through club soccer. This platform best fits players and clubs who value both programs for their development, while adding another level of play offered by member clubs.
“The focus is to create the best environment for our members and help build more pathways for players on a national platform with a goal of collegiate participation central to the structure” stated Barry Ritson, President of Development Player League. “Clubs from across the country will help foster and grow our league, which we believe is beneficial for member markets and programs.”

The league will kick off in three regions this fall (2019); West, Southwest and East. Continued growth is now in motion between new League Commissioner Sean Carey, DPL Member Clubs and sanctioning body USSSA.
“In speaking with Barry and Sean, the vision fits our model of organizations and individuals we look to align with.” Vice President of USSSA, Craig Scriven said. “Our mission as a member of U.S. Soccer is to support the growth and pathways available to players throughout the country and in working with the Development Player League, we achieve this.”

USSSA is a multisport organization with over 4,000,000 members in sports; soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, golf, martial arts and seven other sanctioned sports. The Developmental Player League (DPL) was initially created through collaboration between the Southwest Division Girls DA clubs. The focus was to expand the player pool for the DA and align with some of the core US Soccer Initiatives. Through the success of the program the DPL has expanded into key markets for the 2019/20 Season and added some of the top clubs in the country. The new BBVA logo will be seen on the training shirts of all the Youth Academy players across the club for the next three years. D.R.E.A.M. Partnership 2019

The Mission of ROSE is to help the people of Honduras by collecting, transporting and delivering items critical to organizations, programs and projects that directly improve the quality of local life.

During the 2018/19 season the club shipped 350 pounds of equipment in eighteen (18) boxes to soccer players in Honduras, Colombia, Mexico and Haiti.

The club has and will continue to collect soccer equipment starting in fall season. The collected equipment will be then donated and flown to Honduras by Captain Lynn Rippelmeyer, current President of the Board of Directors. As the club is moving into a new uniform buying cycle, we are asking our members for their support to donate any used soccer equipment. The club will provide a list of equipment drop off times and venues at the beginning of the fall season.

Dynamo | Dash Youth Partners with South Texas Youth Soccer Association

Over the last several weeks, the club’s leadership has been finalizing plans for the future. In particular, we have been evaluating our participation in the U.S. Club Soccer (USC) league.

After serious consideration and evaluation, we have decided that it is in our club’s best interest to move away from USC and over to the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA). STYSA serves over 100,000 players in the South Texas region and is one of the U.S. Soccer Federation’s largest State Associations.

This move aligns with our club’s interests, core values, and mission going forward. Most importantly, it will serve as a positive improvement for our players. This will not have any effect on the quality coaching, first class facilities or the service to the membership. The change will be effective in the 2019 fall season.

This does not impact players at the U.S. Developmental Academy, Frontier Development League or the Recreational level as they do not compete in the USC.

Since announcing our exclusive partnership with the Houston Dynamo and Dash two years ago, our club has flourished to become the leading choice for players, coaches, staff, and volunteers throughout Houston. We are the largest club with 7,500 players and membership growth of 66% since taking the field as the Dynamo | Dash Youth in the fall of 2017. We remain the only club in Houston to serve boys and girls of all skill levels, from recreational soccer to the prestigious U.S. Developmental Academy.

Moving over to STYSA will best position and further strengthen the club for future growth. Our competitive players will now have the following benefits:

Opportunity to positively impact the league and tournament environments for our players
Options to play games closer to your community and on our “home” fields
Increases the competition and ability level opportunities with new opponents and a wider variety of cup competitions
Easier access to state, regional and national cup competitions
The club will have greater control over the weekend schedule, fewer coaching conflicts and less travel time for families
The club will have more player pass opportunities
We would have the option to place some girls' teams to compete against boys’ teams at 10-13 years of age.
