We are in the homestretch of the 2021 Dynamo FC and Dash seasons and need your support more than ever! Time is running out to utilize the FREE player ticket that comes with your registration with the club. We have huge Dynamo FC matches coming up against FC Dallas, Seattle and LA Galaxy. You can utilize your free player ticket as well as purchase additional tickets for the family and friends.

The link above is our main Dynamo | Dash Youth landing page. Individual campuses have chosen specific nights to attend so be on the lookout for those emails from your program directors. If you can’t make that date and want to go to a different game, the general link above is your best way to get your free player tickets.

Don’t forget all tickets are delivered via the Seat Geek app, so if you haven’t downloaded that on your phone yet and created an account it is time to make it happen.

Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club is proud to announce that Boys Academy players Cristian Marcucci and Giancarlo Pardo (ECNL 2003/04) have both been called up to the Puerto Rico U-20 Men's National Team for matches against the Cayman Islands in October.

Marcucci and Pardo’s call-up brings the total number of Dynamo | Dash Youth national team selections to 42 players since 2006.

“I’m grateful for this opportunity to represent the U20 Puerto Rican National Team," said Marcucci. "Thank you to all the coaches who’ve put in so much time into my development.”

"I am grateful and privileged to be given the opportunity to represent my country, Puerto Rico. It is a lifetime experience and opportunity because not too many players get this chance,” said Pardo. “I am following my father’s footsteps, Coach Richie Pardo, and my brother, Coach Rico Pardo, who also played for Puerto Rico. I have been able to improve my game, not only by playing international games in Canada, Spain, and England, but also in high-level tournaments in the USA. Thanks to Coach Alfredo Martinez for helping me reach this level."

"I am very proud of Cristian and Giancarlo in getting selected for their national team. They continue to work very hard in training and their developmental pathway continues to advance in a positive direction," said Boys Academy ECNL 2003-04 head coach Alfie Martinez. "It's superb that their performances are getting recognized, and we look forward to watching them compete on the international stage."

The club is very excited to announce that its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign led by the Girls Academy will be brought to you by Hunter Family Orthodontics.  The money raised will help off-set some Girls Academy program costs, plus a yearly donation will also be provided to a local charity.

The club has produced a pink shirt that will be sold to all members, family members and supporters in September / October. This shirt can be worn by any player (boy or girl) at their first training session of the week and during the warm-up before any game in October (International Breast Cancer Awareness Month).

"It is such an honor and a privilege to be a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign with the Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club,” said Dr. Ross Hunter of Hunter Family Orthodontics. “The players do a fantastic job of raising awareness throughout the month of October in our community. My mother is fortunately a breast cancer survivor, so it brings me great joy to see all the pink shirts being worn by the athletes, knowing that some of the proceeds go towards finding a cure!”

Dynamo | Dash Youth is excited to announce Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers as the club’s newest partner, directly supporting the West Campus and Camp Programs for the 2021-22 season.

"Raising Cane's recognizes the importance of getting involved in the local communities in which they serve and supporting youth sports programs, making them a natural fit for Houston’s top youth soccer club," said Simon Boddison, DDY Director of Soccer Operations. "The restaurants are ideal for large soccer groups to stop by and eat after training and games, providing high quality food served quickly and conveniently. It's a perfect option for our families to enjoy and caters to their busy schedules."

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Dynamo | Dash Youth this year. Raising Cane’s is proud to be apart of this soccer community, and we look forward to promoting our ONE LOVE: fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, and all we can offer your members.” Keena Dickerson, Area Leader of Marketing.

Club members will be able to enjoy Raising Cane’s at events and programs throughout the season, and families in the Katy/Fulshear area will be able to support the club at select community store nights (dates to be announced).  There are forty six (46) stores in the Houston and Beaumont areas.  

The 2021-22 kicked into gear this last weekend at the 2021 Houston Youth Cup, presented by Mia’s Table.

This year’s tournament featured 275 U11-U19 boys and girls teams from all across the region. Matches took place this last Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21, across eight sites in The Woodlands, Tomball and the Conroe area. The GotSoccer ranked event allowed each team a minimum of three games over the course of the weekend, with awards for champions and finalists.

"Thank you to all the teams, coaches, managers, volunteers, referees and sponsors for all their support of the tournament," said Stuart Taylor, Tournament Director. "It’s the effort from everyone involved that makes this pre-season youth soccer event a tremendous success."

Proceeds from the Houston Youth Cup 2021 will benefit the Dynamo | Dash Youth Scholarship fund to help make the game accessible for all players. You can also donate directly to the fund here.

Special thanks go out to our presenting partner, Mia’s Table, as well as The Woodlands Township and Conroe Parks & Recreational. This pre-season tournament for the area brought an estimated 20,000 spectators to the community, providing a huge economic impact to local hotels and businesses. The club would like to thank On Location (formerly Anthony Travel) for facilitating the hotel accommodations for the visiting teams.  

"The club would like to thank the Woodlands Township and the City of Conroe for providing the necessary resources and guidance to help make this event a tremendous success" said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations. "Continuing to host events throughout the year helps us reach two important objectives: providing competitive environments for our players to develop and supporting the local community."

We look forward to welcoming our players, coaches, families for the second pre-season event, the Houston Pre-Labor Day Cup in Friendswood and Clear Lake on Saturday & Sunday, August 28-29!

Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club is proud to announce that club alumnus Michaela Abam has signed a professional contract with the Houston Dash, making her the first player from our club to sign with the Dash first team.

“Home at last—so grateful to have the opportunity to represent my city after so many years away, and be apart of Dash and the organization. Definitely a testament to have my graduating club (Texas Rush) now the Dash Academy, and expand the opportunity ratio for our younger girls in the community to be apart of a club that continuously raises their standards in a competitive environment, " said Abam. "I may be the first Houstonian born and raised to be with the club at the moment, but I know for sure I won’t be the last!”

“We are incredibly proud of Michaela – both as a player and a person – and look forward to welcoming her back home to Houston. The opportunity for current and future Dash Academy players to see someone who was once in their exact position now take the field at BBVA Stadium is truly special,” said Dave Dengerink, Dash Academy Director. “Michaela has continued to be a great supporter of Dynamo | Dash Youth as an alum, and our entire club family is excited to be here to support her and her career.”

Abam progressed from our club to West Virginia University, where she scored 42 goals with 16 assists from 2014-17. She was selected by Sky Blue FC with the 4th overall pick in the 2018 NWSL College Draft, and has spent time playing abroad in France and Spain before this return home.

As the official Academy affiliate of the Dash, we look forward to many more following Michaela’s path from our club to the Dash first team to pursue their professional dreams.

Michaela has been and continues to be a tremendous ambassador for our club, and we are delighted to see her dedication, skill, and humility back in our community.

With the start of a new school year around the corner and the college commitment period having just passed, we want to congratulate the 50 Dynamo | Dash Youth soccer players in the Class of 2021 who have committed to colleges to continue their soccer careers.

Dynamo | Dash Youth has helped 514 players reach their collegiate dreams since 2006, including 40+ players in every graduating class since 2018. We’re also extremely excited that 100% of the Girls Academy Class of 2021 has committed to play at the next level.

Providing our members with collegiate opportunities is a core mission of our club, with resources made available through our College Center presented by Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. More than 2,000 Dynamo | Dash players are registered with College Fit Finder, a free online service we provided to help connect players to colleges and universities that best fit their situation. In addition, our staff is constantly providing seminars, team workshops, in-person education and 1-on-1 support to help players and families navigate the college soccer landscape.

Along with that support, players also have access to an extensive college recruiting network through our coaching staff and high visibility in front of college coaches across the country during a wide range of tournaments, showcases and league play opportunities.

We wish the Class of 2021 the best of luck as they head off to college this fall, and are excited to continue working with the Class of 2022 and beyond to place players in exceptional positions to advance their athletic careers. Six 2022 players have already made their college commitments, and we look forward to adding more over the course of the year!

The Boys Academy 05 (U16) has advanced to the ECNL Boys National Finals after winning four straight games at the National Playoffs from July 3-7 at the Bryan Park Soccer Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Academy 05 group is the only team from Houston to advance to the final eight of the postseason competition, which will take place at World Wide Technology Park in St. Louis from July 22-26.
