The club is very excited to announce the news that Mark Gibbs has been hired as the new Director of Coaching - Girls Development Academy (GDA) starting July 1, 2019. Houston Dash DA is an official member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy and is the elite program for the top U12-U19 players in the club. Dash is the only club in Houston that has the opportunity to play in the most competitive and recognized league for girls youth soccer in the country.

The Woodlands, Texas — (January 28, 2019) The club hosted 90 elite level youth soccer teams in The Woodlands, TX at the 4th annual Houston Premier Cup 2019 at Gosling Sports Park / Bear Branch Soccer Complex. Teams traveled in from across Houston along with the following soccer markets participating - Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, McAllen, Waco and Oklahoma.  Highly competitive games were played on world class turf facilities at the above sites - home of Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club (north).

The Houston Premier Cup (formerly Houston Winter Festival) is the number one premier Spring pre-season event in Houston.

The club is very excited to announce that Wings 'N More have renewed their partnership for 2019 to support the Recreational Soccer Program (North).  The Recreational Soccer Program is the foundation of the club with one thousand five hundred (1,500) players currently playing supported by one hundred and fifty (150) volunteer coaching staff.  Wings 'N More have been corporate partners of the club for the last six years and their restaurants continue to host our teams after training or on game day.

The Woodlands, Texas — (December 18, 2018) the club recently hosted 200 teams at the annual 3 vs. 3 Winterblast Tournament at Bear Branch Soccer Complex, The Woodlands on Saturday, December 15, 2018.  

Live music, juggling contest, dance competitions, fancy dress awards, shooting station & soccer tennis were some of the activities on site along with the 5,000 spectators.  

Food was provided by our following partners - Wings 'N More, Panera Bread, Lennys Grill & Subs, Potbelly and Papa John's Pizza - thank you!

"The tournament provided a great atmosphere for everybody involved within the event. This years participants got to enjoy everything from a dance contest, soccer ball machines, juggling contest, soccer tennis, superb weather and pictures with the Open Cup trophy.  The Winterblast has become the premier 3 v 3 event in the state of Texas which now has teams traveling from outside of the Houston market.  I would like to thank all the people associated with the event for all their hard work and efforts." Milton Arraez, Tournament Director.

The Woodlands, Texas — (December 6, 2018) the club was extremely busy on Saturday, December 1 in Fulshear, TX supporting the local community by attending the Fulshear's Festival of Lights in downtown Fulshear. Twenty two thousand (22,000) people were in attendance which included a large audience of children between the ages of 7-12.  Vendor booths, parade, children activities, fireworks and music were some of the fun attractions on offer.

"It was a very nice and well organized festival of Christmas Lights in Fulshear with large number of families interested in our club programming. Children that attended our booth had chance to talk to the coaching staff, shoot penalty kicks and be provided with club information. The Woodlands, Texas — (December 6, 2018) The U19 Development Academy Boys competed at the DA Winter Showcase 2018 at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, November 29 - December 2. 

Eighty two (82) of the best clubs in the USA were invited at this age group to play three games on pristine playing surfaces watched by a large amount of college coaching staff (400), U.S. Soccer's Talent Identification department and professional scouts.  Over 200 games were played over the four day period along with three U-17 Men's National Team games vs. Portugal, Turkey and Brazil at the 2018 Nike Friendlies (W1-T2-L0).  

The US Federation was also hosting an Academy Directors Course along with three hundred (300) top referees across the country attending refereeing educational classes.

 

The Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club is the only club in Houston that offers the opportunity for both boys / girls to play at the highest level of youth soccer in the country - US Development Academy.
