The club continued its spring season tournament series on back-to-back weekends with the 2022 Houston Premier Cup at Bear Branch Gosling and Alden Bridge sports complexes on January 21-23 and 28-30. More than 200 elite teams attended from Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding states.
2,500 players had the opportunity to take part in elite competition at first-class facilities in front of large audiences. Boys and girls from U9-U15 age groups were on site competing in 7 v 7, 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 formats. Teams stayed in The Woodlands Township, enjoying full access to the incredible amenities provided by the local community.
"On behalf of the club, I would like to recognize and thank all the teams, coaching staff, referees, volunteers, and The Woodlands Township that helped to make the tournament a tremendous success," said Stuart Taylor, Director of Tournaments & Events. "Staging a first-class event for our teams to participate in meaningful games before the league season starts is very important. The feedback we have received has been extremely positive. As we continue to grow, we look forward to staging an expanded version of this event again in 2023."

The club hosted its annual 3 v 3 Turf Cup at Bear Branch Sports Fields, The Woodlands, TX with more than one hundred and fifty teams (150+) teams on site to celebrate the Easter festive weekend. The following activities were part of the fun filled, action packed day for all the teams that traveled in from across the city of Houston: soccer tennis, live DJ, dance competitions, juggling station, 300+ games along with awards and presentations.

"Thank you to all the teams, coaches, managers, volunteers, referees and sponsors for all their support of the tournament. It’s the effort from everyone involved that makes this a premier pre-season youth soccer event in South Texas. It was another fantastic opportunity for the teams to play together again prior to starting their fall league season which is just around the corner."
