Hunter Family Orthodontics-1

The club is very excited to announce that its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign led by the Girls Academy will be brought to you by Hunter Family Orthodontics.  The money raised will help to support the Girls Academy Program, plus a yearly donation will also be provided to a local breast cancer charity.

The club has produced a pink shirt that will be sold to all members, family members and supporters in September / October. This shirt can be worn by any player (boy or girl) at their first training session of the week and during the warm-up before any game in October (International Breast Cancer Awareness Month).

"It is such an honor and a privilege to be a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign with the Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club,” said Dr. Ross Hunter of Hunter Family Orthodontics. “The players do a fantastic job of raising awareness throughout the month of October in our community. My mother is fortunately a breast cancer survivor, so it brings me great joy to see all the pink shirts being worn by the athletes, knowing that some of the proceeds go towards finding a cure!”

"On behalf of the club, I would like to personally thank Dr. Ross Hunter and Hunter Family Orthodontics for renewing their support for this year's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign," said Simon Boddison, DDY Director of Soccer Operations.  "It's a program that continually grows each year and has become a very important part of our annual club programming. Dynamo Dash Youth is very excited to announce our latest corporate partner for the Woodforest community: Scott Family Dental. Our program at the Stampede Sportplex in Woodforest has forty (40) competitive, recreational and youth academy teams, along with an extensive soccer camp schedule.  We began the program in 2015, and now provide opportunities for more than 500 players and families.

Based in Woodforest, Dr. Kevin Scott has provided dental services to the local community for multiple years. "Family is important to us at Scott Family Dental — in fact, we consider family to be a cornerstone of our practice. Our sense of family extends to our patients and their loved ones. Every day, it remains our mission to offer the finest care for the entire family. We strive to provide each patient with the same level of care and attention we would wish for our own families," said Dr. Scott. Family, teamwork, and education are important values for Scott Family Dental, just like they are for us. "With every aspect of our practice from our ongoing commitment to continuing education, to our focus on making our patients feel welcome and comfortable, to our state-of-the-art technology we always keep your family’s well-being as our top priority. When you’ve planted roots in one place for as long as we have, one’s sense of family also naturally embraces the larger community. Our families have grown up here alongside those of our patients, and we are passionate about serving and giving back to the community that we cherish."

"On behalf of the club, I would like to welcome Dr Scott and his team to the Woodforest Program. We continually partner and align ourselves with businesses that care for their local communities, understand the importance of youth sports and offer an impeccable service for their own customers, said Simon Boddison, DDY Director of Soccer Operations.  "We look forward to partnering over the coming months and growing this valued relationship within the Woodforest community."

Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign 2021

Posted on November 15, 2021 BY Simon Boddison

Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club wrapped up its 10th annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign last week led by the Dash Academy, brought to you by Hunter Family Orthodontics and SPB Consulting. The campaign resulted in $10,000 donated to In The Pink of Health / Memorial Hermann Foundation as well as contributing financial support to the Dash Academy.

Over $80K has been donated to local charities since the inception of the program in 2012, with more than 10,000 pink shirts sold and worn in the local community. This year alone, the club sold over 1,500 shirts across their local communities for players, family members and supporters to proudly wear in the months of September and October. Shirts were prominent in training sessions throughout the week as well as on game days in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“The commitment of these young athletes towards helping those struggling with ovarian and breast cancer is truly amazing,” said In the Pink of Health co-chair Debra Cooper. “Statistics show that many of these young women will be faced with a loved one battling these diseases in their lifetime and it is so encouraging to witness their compassion and support at such a young age. We are all in this together and we are so grateful for this continued partnership with the Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club.”

Ross Hunter and SPB Consulting for their support for this year's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign," said Simon Boddison, DDY Director of Soccer Operations. "It's a program that continually grows each year and has become a very important part of our club, reinforcing our core value of service."
