College Center Draws Huge Audience

Posted on October 16, 2019 BY Simon Boddison

College Fit Finder

Over 1,250 players and parents have attended the College Center presentations in the last month!  Educational sessions have been offered in geographic locations across Houston to provide assistance for the prospective student-athlete to help navigate their way through the entire college recruitment process with the help from College Fit Finder, the club's online communication platform.

College Center Information

1,800 players and 100 teams have FREE access to the program and will be working individually and collectively as a team to market themselves in a positive fashion to the 5,000 academic institutions that offer a variety of degree paths.  There are 2,900 schools that currently sponsor men and women's collegiate soccer so the opportunity is huge for our prospective student-athletes when they engage in the program that the club has provided since 2006.

The club is placing close to fifty (50) prospective student-athletes onto college rosters annually.  "It's about engagement and using the resources and tools that the club is currently providing, that's why our placement numbers are increasing each year."  stated Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations.

This program is brought to you by Northwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Free Exam and X-Ray from Northwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery 2018

"I would like to personally thank Dr. Unterman and Northwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for sponsoring the program and providing the necessary tools and resources that College Fit Finder has to offer.  Without their very generous support, a lot of these players would not have access to the program nor have the opportunity to attend college.  They have continually provided support to these students to help them get to college over the years and we're extremely grateful for their continued commitment."  Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations.

"The Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club has a responsibility to educate our players and families to help them understand the recruiting and academic process in gaining a college education.  Many of our players want to use soccer as a vehicle to help off-set the costs of school with scholarship funding.  Therefore, getting onto a collegiate soccer roster to continue their playing career is vitally important. Our coaching staff are extremely well educated and their college networking connections across the country are extensive.  They are willing and able to provide the tools and resources necessary to help with the process."  Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations, Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club.
