The club had some outstanding success with both teams below winning the event.

"I am so proud of the girls because they had to overcame a lot to win this tournament. They had to deal with several injuries, sick players, some really physical play from opponents and they overcame it all. They made me proud to be their coach!" Jason DeVore, Head Coach, Dash South 05 Orange.

The following teams travelled to San Antonio, TX to compete in the Copa Lonestar Tournament, February 17-18 and came out winning the event within their respective age group / bracket.

The club kicked off the opening day of Recreational Soccer on Saturday brought to you by Wings 'N More.  The program has increased in size by 15% this Spring season with over 1,600 players (205 teams) along with 200+ volunteer coaching staff.  Dynamo Diesel was also on site at Bear Branch Soccer Complex, The Woodlands interacting with all the players and teams.  Both the Woodlands and Montgomery play groups were present.

Former Houston Dash (Texas Rush) players Emily Alvarado (Texas Christian University) and Kimberly Rodriguez (Oklahoma State University) recently came away with a victory vs. U20 USA WNT in the title game of the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship in penalty kicks by a 4-2 scoreline in Couva, Trinidad & Tobago (Jan 28).  It was the third meeting between the USA and Mexico in the championship game of this tournament and the first time Mexico has come out on top.

The club took four teams (Dash Woodlands 01,03, 04 & 05 Pre-Academy Girls) to the Lonestar Girls Showcase in Austin, TX this last weekend (February 9-11).

“It was a strong weekend for the 05 girls. Making the final against this competition was impressive, and it was good to see that their level of play continues to improve. The club was competing in the NRG Power Cup this last weekend and the following teams had tremendous success.

Thirty five (35) players will be graduating from the club and playing collegiate soccer at the NCAA Div. I, II, III and NAIA levels. The club is very excited to announce the following players within the club have committed to a variety of colleges across the country to continue their soccer and academic endeavors as college student-athletes. The club will continue to work with the remaining prospective student-athletes from this year's graduation class who are finalizing their college plans. 

The club has now placed 325 players since 2006 into the collegiate ranks.

The club held their annual College ID event at Bear Branch Soccer Complex in conjunction with the Houston Dash Premier Cup 2018.  The event was designed to showcase college bound Dash soccer players that are undecided in their collegiate search. Games were played at the following time slots with a variety of colleges represented:

11:30am:  2021 Graduates vs. 2020 Graduates

1:00pm:  2018 Graduates vs. 2019 Graduates 

Sixty one (61) players attended from our Develpment Academy and Dash City programs who are 'uncommitted' and 14 NCAA / NAIA schools attended - LeTourneau University, St. Edward's University, University of Incarnate Word, St Thomas University, Sam Houston State University, Lamar University, University of Houston, Nichols State University, Houston Baptist University and McNeese State University.

Houston Dash Premier Cup was played this weekend (Jan 27-28) despite the wet conditions on Saturday.  Fifty four (54) teams participated from Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Louisiana playing in 87 games in a Tournament format for U10 - U13 and a series of Pre-season friendlies for U13 – U15 teams.
