Dynamo | Dash Youth is excited to congratulate Collins Gitau (U19 Boys Development Academy) on his commitment to play college soccer at Notre Dame de Namur (NCAA Div. II).

Houston Dash U14 Girls National Team Success

The club is excited to announce that Sarah Shelburne and Gillian Wilson were both selected for the U.S. Soccer U-14 Girls' Central YNT Talent Identification Mini-Camp which will be in Dallas, TX - March 4-8, 2020.

Soccer Talent ID Managers Katie Cole, Marieke Laurens and Diane Drake will oversee the event and have named 62 players from the Central region, all born in 2006.

Girls Development Academy President's Day Showcase 2020

The club completed its annual President's Day Showcase at Gosling Sports Park, The Woodlands, TX which included teams from the following states of Texas, Nebraska & Kansas. Record numbers of college coaching staff were present from across the country to recruit our club players from the following divisions - Development Academy; Development Player League & Pre-Academy.

"The Houston DASH DA staff planned and executed an excellent event. It was a great example of clubs collaborating to develop players and expose them to opportunities in the college game. The weekend provided an outstanding environment to evaluate individual players as well as each club's development pathway from U13 to U19." Dynamo | Dash Youth is excited to congratulate David Chapa (2020 graduate / Dynamo Woodlands 01/02 PA II) on his commitment to play college soccer at Coastal Bend College (NJCAA Div. I).

Emily Alvarado - Mexico Women's National Team

Emily Alvarado (Houston Dash Youth | TCU Senior | Mexico WNT) represented her country on February 7, 2020 vs. U.S. Women’s National Team in the semifinal of the 2020 Concacaf Women’s Olympic Qualifying tournament in front of 11,292 fans at Dignity Health Sports Park.

“Being able to represent Mexico on the senior level is a huge honor and a goal I’ve been working towards for a very long time. Texas Rush (Houston Dash) has prepared me from a very young age for big moments such as this. Recreational Soccer Program Opening Day

Bear Branch - the home site for the Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club Recreational Program (north).

Record numbers were present on the opening day of the Recreational Soccer Program (north) at Bear Branch soccer complex. Thirteen hundred (1,300) players, 5,000 spectators were on site to kick-off the spring season with great weather and first class facilities.

The Recreational Program is the foundation of the club coached by volunteer coaching staff which offers programming in both the Fall and Spring seasons. One team practice & game per week, plus optional skills training along with Street Soccer. Come and join in the fun with Dynamo | Dash!

Ford All-Star Game - Franklin Hernandez

The club took part in the first annual Ford All-Star game at HASP (Houston Sports Park) with the Houston Dynamo Youth Development Academy '04 vs. Houston Dynamo Academy '05 on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. The game was to showcase Ford's partnership and the support of the above two soccer organizations.

Dynamo Youth Hosted Jamaican Women's National Soccer Team

The club hosted international competition at Bear Branch soccer complex with the Jamaican Women's National Soccer Team vs. Houston Dynamo Youth Development Academy 05/06. The JWNT required a training game in preparation for their CONCACAF match vs. Mexico 4:30pm 1/29/20 at the HEB Park – Edinburg stadium.

Houston Premier Cup 2020

The club hosted 105 elite level youth soccer teams in The Woodlands, TX at the 5th annual Houston Premier Cup 2020 at Gosling / Bear Branch / Alden Bridge soccer complexes. An increased number of teams traveled in from across Texas and Oklahoma to compete in highly competitive games played on world class turf facilities at the above sites - home of Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club (north).

The Houston Premier Cup is the number one Spring youth soccer pre-season event in Houston.

Lastly, appreciation goes to The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau for their support in welcoming our club guests. The event brought 1,800 players, 105 teams, 7,000 spectators using 15 Township soccer fields. The visiting teams resided in twenty two (22) hotels within The Woodlands and surrounding areas. The club will continue to support the Woodlands Township hotels and local businesses by bringing in large events to provide new economic impact to the local community.

D.R.E.A.M. 2019-20

The club continue to support groups across the world that are in desperate need for soccer equipment and supplies. The following equipment was collected in the fall 2019 season and then shipped out to four clubs / support groups in Honduras and Nigeria.

The Mission of ROSE is to help the people of Honduras by collecting, transporting and delivering items critical to organizations, programs and projects that directly improve the quality of local life.

The club has and will continue to collect soccer equipment each fall. The collected equipment will be then donated and flown to Honduras by Captain Lynn Rippelmeyer, current President of the Board of Directors.
