HTX Members -
As 2024 draws to a close, we want to express our appreciation for your support of HTX Soccer during a remarkable year of success on and off the field. Some brief highlights from this year include:
HTX GA 12 became U13 USYS National Champions, playing up an age group and defeating Columbus United in penalty kicks (3-0) in the final. On their journey to victory, the team played in state, regional, and national matchups, besting teams from USYS’ 54 State Associations.
CP Soccer Houston was awarded a grant from cpsoccer.us based on the number of player hours the club accumulated over the last year. The program was also recognized as #1 in the country, with 533 total hours, leading the nation by a landslide.
Monterrey Rayados Partnership - Allen Rojas (ECNL 05/06B) signed a professional contract and contributed to the team’s victory in the U19 Supercopa Monterrey in August. He is the first player to sign professionally since we began our partnership in 2023. The club also competed in the Copa Rayados Internacional Thanksgiving Tournament and hosted our inaugural joint scouting event in June as part of the relationship.
Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign – raised money to support members, staff along with a donation to In the Pink of Health | Memorial Hermann Foundation and other local organizations. Over $200K has been raised since the program started in 2012.
14 players were selected for national team events and attended identification training programs across the country.
17 Elite and Competitive teams advanced to end-of-year playoff competitions.
The Elite Program (ECNL, ECNL-RL, GA, GA2) finished the Fall season with a very impressive record of W276 – L113 – T69.
48 players from the class of 2024 committed to playing college soccer and over 1,300 players attended the club’s in-person fall presentations.
Over 4,600 players participated in our Spring and Fall Recreational seasons across 13 campuses sponsored by AutoNation.
HTX Cypress campus opened with 15 new teams formed and over 220 players registered.
Over 1,700 teams participated in yearly club tournaments in the following formats of 3v3, 5v5, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11.
These are only a handful of this year’s great accomplishments at the club, with each player and team celebrating their own individual successes throughout the year that have contributed to these milestones.
From all of us at HTX Soccer, we hope that you and your family enjoy this holiday season, and we look forward to celebrating more achievements in 2025!
