“This was an extremely exciting and professionally hosted tournament with some superb competition from across the country and internationally," said Coach Alex Cardenas, Boys Academy Director.  "To be able to play this level of competition on home soil without extensive travel is very much appreciated by our teams and families over the Thanksgiving holiday period.  It was also used as part of another identification process within our exclusive partnership with C.F. Monterrey Rayados."

"Another great tournament by Copa Rayados with great facilities and competition," said Coach Gutierrez, ECNL-RL North Director.  "Our ECNL-RL groups had an opportunity to play some very strong teams from domestic and international areas that we do not see in our regular league play.  Another tremendous event on home soil for the club."

"Our players and staff had a great week at Copa Rayados. Competing against regional and international teams provides valuable insights and highlights areas for improvement, said Alan Cuevas, Catalyst Director. "The downtime between games was also a fantastic opportunity to support other Catalyst teams, creating a fun and supportive environment for everyone involved!"

"We just completed the 12th Annual Copa Rayados Internacional in The Woodlands, and very pleased with the success of this year’s tournament," said Scott Spencer, Tournament Director. "With 350 teams, including 75 international teams plus teams from across the country, it’s an important part in the growth strategy of Monterrey Rayados.  The competition has never been better!  This builds and strengthens our partnership with HTX Soccer as Monterrey expands its initiatives in the Houston market."
