C.F. Monterrey "Rayados" Signs HTX Allen Rojas

HTX Soccer is very excited to announce that Allen Rojas (ECNL 05/06B) has signed a professional contract to play for Club de Fútbol Monterrey Rayados. Allen has been with HTX Soccer for five years and is the first player to sign a professional agreement since the two clubs started our partnership.

In 2023, HTX Soccer entered into a multi-faceted partnership agreement with C.F. Monterrey, whereby both clubs would share knowledge and resources to create a powerful pro pathway opportunity and establish an active and collaborative relationship at the academy level.

"First and foremost, I want to thank God for this amazing opportunity in my life. I also want to express my gratitude to Coach Alex, Miguel, Alfy, and all the HTX staff for their support over the last five years at the club," said Allen Rojas. "Their coaching and guidance have been instrumental in leading me to success. I am also thankful for my family's endless support and sacrifices, which have brought me to where I am today. I will always be grateful to everyone who has helped me reach this important stage in my career."

"As parents, we are extremely grateful to the club, Coach Alex Cardenas, and all the coaches for their support and unwavering belief in our son, Allen," said Daniel and Yadira Rojas. "We are proud that he is the first player to represent the HTX Club and has already signed a professional contract with Monterrey Rayados!"

"The signing of Allen Rojas marks an incredible individual journey for the player and his family. Allen has taken full advantage of every opportunity while at HTX," said Dave Dengerink, Boys Director.  "He’s also dealt with his share of adversities along the way. It is a special day for him, his family along with the Boys Academy staff and the entire club. Allen’s signing also reflects the sincerity and genuineness of our club partnership, every interaction with C.F. Monterrey has been honest and first class.  We know that Allen has found a truly great club to start his professional career."

"This is a significant achievement for everyone involved in Allen’s soccer journey. His family, club, and coaches feel very proud to see Allen progressing to the professional level after years of hard work and sacrifices, which have been well worth it," said Alex Cardenas, Boys Academy Director.  "Allen understands how important this is for him and is aware of the challenges that lie ahead in this new journey. He can count on the continued joint support of both clubs, every step of the way. It’s a fantastic accomplishment for Allen and HTX, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with Rayados to further develop our relationship in providing professional playing opportunities."

- Currently, two more players are being evaluated by Rayados during the summer weeks and the first HTX | Rayados ID Scouting event will be held on June 17-18 at 6:30pm, Gosling Sports Park.

ABOUT C.F. MONTERREY “RAYADOS”

Club de Fútbol Monterrey Rayados, often known simply as their nickname Rayados, is a Mexican professional football club based in Monterrey, Mexico which currently plays in Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican football. Founded on 28 June 1945, it is the oldest active professional team from the northern part of Mexico. Since 1999 the club has been owned by FEMSA, Latin America’s largest bottling company. Its home games have been played in the Estadio BBVA (capacity 53,500) since 2015, one of the venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Monterrey has won five league titles, three domestic cups, and five CONCACAF Champions League titles (notably, three consecutive tournaments in 2011, 2012 and 2013). In 2020 Monterrey became the second Mexican club to complete the continental treble.

The club consistently ranks as the highest in LigaMX attendance and currently features one of the most expensive squads in the country, including national team players from Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, and Spain.

The youth academy is considered one of the top academies in Mexico and are the current LigaMX national champions in the Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 age divisions, historic achievements for a Liga MX club. Also, the academy has a system of 160 soccer schools in Mexico and in the US, with over 12,000 players registered and will host 6 international Copa Rayados USA events in 2024.
