The club hosted the 5th Annual South Texas Spring Showdown, May 3-4 at Gosling and Bear Branch sports complexes in The Woodlands, Texas. Over 90 Recreational and Youth Academy teams across south Texas competed over a fun two-day event to provide an exciting wrap-up to their spring season of competition. A minimum of three games were played with prizes for all finalists and champions.  Games from the Boys ECNL and Houston City Cup were also staged at both sites.

"I would like to thank all the teams, referees, volunteers, parents, and coaching staff for participating in the 5th Annual South Texas Spring Showdown," said Stuart Taylor, Tournament Director. "The tournament was a tremendous success and a perfect setting for Recreational and Youth Academy teams to end their season in a fun and exciting competition. We look forward to hosting and expanding this event in 2026."

The club would like to recognize and thank the following club partners that also made the tournament a fantastic success:  Fine Design T-Shirt Company provided a quality product of apparel for the players to purchase along with PhotoMules offering professional photography options for the teams.
