HTX Soccer Celebrates Record-Breaking Postseason Qualifications

Houston, TX - June 5, 2025 - HTX Soccer is proud to announce that twenty eight (28) teams from our Elite and Competitive Programs have qualified for postseason competition!

This accomplishment is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and excellence shown by our players, coaches, and families throughout the regular season. Each of these teams has earned the right to continue competing and will proudly represent HTX Soccer in regional and national events across the country in the coming weeks.

We are especially excited to share that this year marks a significant milestone, with eleven (11) more teams qualifying than in 2024 — a clear indicator of the continued growth and strength of our club.

Congratulations to all of our advancing teams.  We look forward to seeing your success continue and thank you for representing HTX Soccer with pride and determination.

"This is a remarkable list of teams to qualify for the playoffs for both the boys and the girls," said Randy Evans, Technical Director. "We are so proud of the work the players have put in, for the dedication of the coaches and for the support from the families.  We wish everyone the best of luck as we finish what’s been an incredible year so far."

"To have eleven ECNL and ECNL-RL teams advancing to the playoffs which is five more than in 2024 is a reflection of all the hard work from the players and coaching staff have accomplished together while competing in the best league in the country," said Alex Cardenas, Boys Academy Director.  "We look forward to the opportunity to represent the club at the next stage in our season."

“We are incredibly proud of all our teams who have extended their seasons into June by qualifying for their respective playoffs,” said Andrew Squire, Girls Director. “Since the start of preseason in August, every team set their sights on making the playoffs, and now only a select few in each age group remain. These teams will soon compete at top-level events to determine the Regional and National Champions within their leagues.”

“For the first time in club history, all six GA teams have earned a spot in the National Playoffs, where the nation’s top teams will face off. The best from each regional conference will compete in front of hundreds of college coaches and national team scouts, all with one goal in mind — a National Championship.”

“The following week, the GA2 teams will compete against their counterparts from across the region in Dallas, TX.  They’ll battle for a Regional title and a coveted place in the prestigious USYS National Championships this July.”

Congrats to our 28 teams that will be attending playoff events this summer!
