Rafael Castillo - Iowa Western Community College

Houston, Texas (July 28, 2019) – The Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club (HDDY), a nationally recognized premier soccer club for boys / girls, is excited to announce that Rafael Castillo has committed to Iowa Western Community College, IA (Iowa Community College Athletic Conference / NJCAA).
 
 

Castillo will become the 43rd player to commit to an academic institution from the graduating class of 2019 from the club.

"It's great news to see Rafael moving on to become a student-athlete and to further his playing career in college.  I look forward to following him and all the rest of the players that have committed to play college soccer in the fall season."  Alex Cardenas, U19 Boys Development Head Coach. 

College Committments:

The club will continue to work with the remaining 2019 graduating class to solidify their placement in college throughout the Summer. Players graduating from the club have enjoyed tremendous success since 2006 competing in the variety of leagues the club has provided: U.S. Development Academy, Elite Clubs National League, Frontier Player Development League, United Soccer Clubs Champions League, State Classic League and Eastern District Division 1.
