⚽ HTX Soccer Adds Fun & Community Spirit to The Woodlands with Outreach Event 🎉
This past weekend, HTX Soccer attended the Lighting Of The Doves community outreach event at Town Green Park, The Woodlands, which brought families and local residents together for an action packed Saturday afternoon and evening full of fun and festivities.
The Lighting of the Doves Festival is a long-standing tradition in The Woodlands that signifies the start of the holiday season in the community. Symbolizing peace during the holidays, the ceremonial illumination of the giant doves has attracted thousands of visitors each year.
The Festival included traditional and international performances, showcasing the cultural diversity of The Woodlands and holiday traditions celebrated around the world. Featuring snow play areas, vendor booths, children’s activities and strolling entertainment, Lighting of the Doves culminates with a special appearance by Santa Claus arriving by sleigh down The Woodlands Waterway and a dazzling fireworks display.
The club also provided information about its programs, youth leagues, and opportunities for community involvement highlighting the club’s commitment to growing the game and supporting local families both on and off the field.
HTX Soccer extends its thanks to everyone who attended and helped make these events a success. We look forward to continuing to engage with our community and providing youth soccer opportunities for all age and ability levels. The club's booth and activities were managed by Allie Garcia, Andrea Garcia, May Huynh and David Hubbard.

“It was incredible to see so many families stop by and celebrate with us!” said Allie Garcia, HTX Grassroots Administrator | Community Outreach. “The holiday spirit was everywhere. From the festive activities, to the amazing energy throughout the day. Being part of such a cherished community tradition gave us a great opportunity to connect, share the joy of the season, and highlight the soccer opportunities we offer. As The Woodlands’ hometown youth soccer provider, engaging with our community like this is what HTX is all about."
