HTX Soccer continues to lead the Houston area in connecting players with collegiate soccer opportunities. The club is very proud to announce that 19 members of the Class of 2025 have already verbally committed to schools on the opening day that prospective student-athletes can sign their financial agreements with their respective schools of preference.
The College Center is powered by SportsRecruits and brought to you by Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
"Many young soccer players dream about someday playing at the colligate level. We want to congratulate all our players that have put in the hard work and dedicated themselves to accomplish this dream," said Randy Evans, Technical Director. "We are extremely proud of your efforts and wish you continued success both on and off the field."
"Placing the girls into college is something the club takes great pride in. We dedicate all the necessary resources to support the process and open doors for our players," said Andrew Squire, Girls Director. "On a personal level, it is one of the most rewarding parts of being a coach. At the end of their journey with our club, a new journey begins in college. We aim to be a bridge into that new environment so the players can thrive. Seeing so many girls have success in their college environment is validation for the programming we have built and it provides the inspiration to keep improving. Congratulations to the 2025 class, we are looking forward to seeing what you accomplish!"
Since 2017, more than 430 HTX players have committed to college soccer programs, more than any club in the Houston area. Every player in the club receives access to free college planning and recruitment tools through the HTX Soccer College Center and SportsRecruits, providing guidance for families every step of the way through the recruiting and college selection process.
"Getting our players placed into college to extend their academic and athletic careers is part of our DNA," said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations and College Center Director. "The club has a responsibility to provide the necessary tools, education and resources to help guide the player and their family through the recruiting process. We are extremely proud of the players that have already committed and the club will continue to work with the remaining 2025 graduating players to get them to a school that fits their goals and expectations."
"It's great to see these young players committing to their futures and having the opportunity to study and play at the next level," said Dave Dengerink, Boys Director. "We look forward to following the players in their next stages in life."
