🏆 Recreational Program – Fall 2025 Season Wrap-Up 🏆

📅 November 23, 2025
📍 Houston, TX

**Over 3,500 Players Completed the Fall Season**

This past Saturday marked an exciting close to the Fall 2025 Recreational Program, proudly partnered with [TDECU](https://www.tdecu.org/htxsoccer), as more than 3,500 players took to the fields for the final weekend of play.

Spread across 10 campuses throughout the Greater Houston area, the program brought together families, players, and volunteers for a season filled with energy, teamwork, and passion for the game. With 425 teams, over 1,800 matches scheduled, and 350 volunteer coaches, the fields were alive every weekend with excitement and community spirit.

Each week, more than 12,000 spectators cheered from the sidelines across our recreational sites in Clear Lake, Friendswood, Fulshear, Humble, Kingwood, League City, Sienna, Tomball, The Woodlands, and Woodforest.

This fall season will be remembered not only for its competitive spirit, but also for the continued development of players at all skill levels as they strengthened both their abilities and love for the sport.

🎙 Director Highlights

📣 Phil Ebner, Grassroots Director
“We’d like to sincerely thank all the spectators for helping create such a positive and supportive atmosphere at our facilities. A special thank you to our team of staff who worked tirelessly this summer to set up the season for success. Finally, shout-out to our volunteer coaches, the heartbeat of the program, whose passion and commitment inspire so many players to fall in love with the game. We’re excited for what promises to be another incredible Spring season.”

📣 Sam Buckman, Sienna Director
“We’re thrilled to wrap up the Fall 2025 season here in Sienna. A huge thank you to our staff for their hard work throughout registration, team formation, scheduling, and field prep. An extra special shout-out to our volunteer coaches for dedicating their time to support our Sienna teams. The energy from players and parents all season long has been incredible.”

📣 Rodrigo Miranda, Cypress & Tomball Recreational Director
“The season’s opening weekend set the tone for what became a tremendous fall. It was fantastic to see our grassroots players back on the field. Thank you to all the players, families, and spectators who helped make this season so memorable.”

📣 Trey Tesno, Woodforest Recreational Director
“You couldn’t ask for a better fall season. The weather was perfect, and the kids were full of energy and excitement. Our program continues to grow alongside the community, and this fall has been our best yet.”

📣 Jamie Bell, HTX North & East Regional Director
“Our Recreational partnerships and programs in the East continue to thrive. In Kingwood, our relationship with Kingwood Alliance provides a fantastic platform for families to enjoy the game. In Humble, Rodrigo Marron and David Jackson have done an outstanding job leading the Recreational Program, creating an environment where players, parents, coaches, and volunteers come together with passion and commitment. Their work ensures kids have fun while growing both on and off the field.”

📣 David Deverteuil, South Director of Operations
“We’re proud to celebrate another successful season of recreational soccer. The fields were full of energy all fall, and it was inspiring to see so many young players enjoying the game. Our program continues to grow across our communities, and we remain committed to providing a fun, safe, and developmental environment for every player.”

The Recreational Program is partnered with [TDECU](https://www.tdecu.org/htxsoccer):
![IMG\_3456](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_3456.jpeg?width=4032&height=3024&name=IMG_3456.jpeg)

“At TDECU, we believe financial empowerment is about building real-life skills,” said Josh Brian, TDECU Chief Growth Officer. “Partnering with HTX Soccer is one way we’re investing in the next generation on and off the field. These young athletes are learning teamwork, discipline, and dedication, and those lessons will stick with them for life. We’re proud to support their journey and excited to kick off the season together!”

“Partnering with TDECU, Houston’s largest credit union, is an exciting step forward for our club and our members,” said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations. “TDECU recognizes the transformative impact of youth sports from building stronger communities to opening doors for young talent. Their values align with our mission to grow the game and expand our reach across Houston. We’re excited for what’s ahead as we work together to elevate the experience for our players and families."

### About HTX Soccer

HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area, with over 8,500 players ranging from recreational to elite levels, ages 3 to 19. Serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston, HTX represents the true heart of soccer in the city and its surrounding communities. Since 2006, HTX has helped more than 775 players advance to collegiate soccer—more than any other club in the region. The club has also seen 67 players selected for youth national team activities, and 17 players go on to play professionally around the world.

HTX’s elite boys’ teams compete in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), while the elite girls’ teams participate in the Girls Academy (G.A.) League—both top-tier platforms in U.S. youth soccer.

HTX Soccer is proud to be home to:
🏆 🏆 Back-to-back USYS U13 Girls National Champions (2024 & 2025)
🏆 2025 U19 Girls Academy Champions Cup National Champions
🏆 2025 U15 Girls Academy Champions Cup National Finalists

HTX continues to set the standard for youth soccer development and competition—locally, regionally, and nationally.
