For Immediate Release.February 16, 2026

**HOUSTON, TX -** HTX Soccer is proud to announce Marcus Storey as the new Sienna Director and a member of the club's coaching staff.
A Chicago native raised in Houston, Storey brings a championship pedigree, elite playing experience, and a lifelong connection to the game. His journey from youth national titles to professional success reflects a standard of excellence that aligns with HTX Soccer’s mission of developing high-level players and strong leaders.

Storey competed at the highest level of collegiate soccer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a key contributor to an NCAA Division I National Championship team. During his decorated college career, he earned First Team All-American honors, was named ACC Rookie of the Year, became a two-time First Team All-ACC selection, and appeared in 106 matches.

He transitioned to the professional ranks after being selected 20th overall in the MLS SuperDraft. In 2006, he captured an MLS Cup championship and went on to build a successful professional career that included six seasons in Germany’s 3rd Bundesliga, 145 professional appearances, and 54 goals.

“I am excited to be joining HTX Soccer and to help provide a platform where players can develop into intelligent, confident competitors who can think, solve problems, and progress within the game,” said Storey. “I look forward to working within the community where I reside and delivering an excellent developmental experience for every player.”

- “Marcus’ resume speaks for itself with national championships, elite collegiate success, and experience competing at the highest levels of the game,” said Randy Evans, Technical Director. “However, what truly sets him apart is his character. Marcus is a proven winner who leads with integrity, and his ability to mentor, inspire, and elevate those around him makes him an outstanding addition to our HTX Soccer family. Our players and families are gaining not just a coach, but a role model who embodies the very best of who we are.”
- Storey’s appointment reflects the club's continued commitment to excellence in player development, leadership, and community impact.

### About HTX Soccer

HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area, with over 8,500 players ranging from recreational to elite levels, ages 3 to 19. Serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston, HTX represents the true heart of soccer in the city and its surrounding communities. Since 2006, HTX has helped more than 790 players advance to collegiate soccer, more than any other club in the region. The club has also seen 67 players selected for youth national team activities, and 17 players go on to play professionally around the world.

HTX’s elite boys’ teams compete in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), while the elite girls’ teams participate in the Girls Academy (G.A.) League, both top-tier platforms in U.S. youth soccer.

HTX Soccer is proud to be the  home to:
🏆 🏆 Back-to-back USYS U13 Girls National Champions (2024 & 2025)
🏆 2025 U19 Girls Academy Champions Cup National Champions
🏆 2025 U15 Girls Academy Champions Cup National Finalists

HTX continues to set the standard for youth soccer development and competition—locally, regionally and nationally.
