HOUSTON, TX - HTX Soccer is proud to announce Marcus Storey as the new Sienna Director and a member of the club's coaching staff.
A Chicago native raised in Houston, Storey brings a championship pedigree, elite playing experience, and a lifelong connection to the game. His journey from youth national titles to professional success reflects a standard of excellence that aligns with HTX Soccer’s mission of developing high-level players and strong leaders.
Storey competed at the highest level of collegiate soccer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a key contributor to an NCAA Division I National Championship team. During his decorated college career, he earned First Team All-American honors, was named ACC Rookie of the Year, became a two-time First Team All-ACC selection, and appeared in 106 matches.
He transitioned to the professional ranks after being selected 20th overall in the MLS SuperDraft. In 2006, he captured an MLS Cup championship and went on to build a successful professional career that included six seasons in Germany’s 3rd Bundesliga, 145 professional appearances, and 54 goals.
“I am excited to be joining HTX Soccer and to help provide a platform where players can develop into intelligent, confident competitors who can think, solve problems, and progress within the game,” said Storey. “I look forward to working within the community where I reside and delivering an excellent developmental experience for every player.”

HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area, with over 8,500 players ranging from recreational to elite levels, ages 3 to 19. Serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston, HTX represents the true heart of soccer in the city and its surrounding communities. Since 2006, HTX has helped more than 790 players advance to collegiate soccer, more than any other club in the region.
