Jasmine Diaz Takes the Field: A Remarkable Journey to the Women’s Gold Cup

THE WOODLANDS, TX — The club is thrilled to announce that Jasmine Diaz (07 Girls Academy), also known as Jazzy, earned an amazing opportunity to represent HTX Soccer and her family's country as she competes for the El Salvador Women’s National Team in the Concacaf Road to Women’s Gold Cup. At only 16 years of age, Jasmine's selection to compete at this international level is a testament to her exceptional talent and unwavering dedication to the sport.

"Representing my family’s country, El Salvador, in soccer at the age of 16 is an incredible honor and a dream come true," said Jasmine Diaz, 07 Girls Academy. "For me, it’s not just about playing. This opportunity is about learning, growing, and competing at the international level. I am filled with excitement for the journey ahead. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to my parents, coaches, HTX Soccer, and everyone who has helped me along the journey for their unwavering support. Together, we are making this dream a reality, and I'm eager to proudly represent my roots, my club, and my country. I hope to make everyone who's been part of this journey proud."

As Jasmine begins her incredible journey, let us join as a community to congratulate her and send her our best wishes. Her perseverance, dedication, and passion for soccer not only inspired her teammates and coaches but also established her as an excellent role model for young athletes everywhere. We are confident that she will represent the spirit of HTX Soccer on the international stage, embodying the values of hard work, determination, and sportsmanship that our club stands for.

Former club player Megan Bennett will join Jasmine in the competition. Let’s cheer for Jasmine and Megan as they represent El Salvador in the Road to Women’s Gold Cup. It is time to show our support and enthusiasm for these extraordinary talents as they continue to make us proud on a global scale!

ABOUT HTX SOCCER

HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area with more than 9,000 players at every skill level from recreational to elite from the ages of 3-19. The club truly represents the sport in Houston, with teams serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston. Since 2017, it has developed 370+ players who have gone on to play collegiately, more than any other club in the area, and 48 players have been selected to play for their respective youth national teams. HTX Soccer’s elite boys’ teams are part of the ECNL, the most competitive youth soccer league in America, and its elite girls teams compete in the Girls Academy (G.A.) League against the top teams and clubs throughout the country.
