HTX Board Announces Randy Evans as Technical Director

The HTX Soccer Board of Directors is pleased to announce Randy Evans will be the club's new Technical Director as of February 8, 2024. A dedicated leader of this club from its inception, he will lead the future business development and strategic development of our 8,500 member strong nonprofit organization.

“The HTX Soccer Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Randy Evans as the organization’s Technical Director," said Dave Smith, HTX President, Board of Directors. "We thank Randy for his service to the organization as Interim Technical Director for the last nine months and are looking forward to working with him and the staff, as we support them moving the organization forward.”

"The club has so many talented and motivated leaders consistently working to best serve our soccer communities.  It is a privilege to work for and with this amazing group of people.”

Aligning with the Board of Directors and overseeing staff and daily operations, Evans brings a wealth of experience to this role and we look forward to our athletes, coaches and staff continuing to raise the bar of youth soccer in Houston.

ABOUT HTX SOCCER

HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area with more than 8,500 players at every skill level from recreational to elite and all age levels from 3-19. The club truly represents the sport in Houston, with teams serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston. Since 2017, it has developed 381 players who have gone on to play collegiately, more than any other club in the area, and 52 players have been invited to participate in national team activities. HTX Soccer’s elite boys teams are part of the ECNL, the most competitive youth boys soccer league in America, and its elite girls teams compete in the Girls Academy (G.A.) League against the top teams and clubs throughout the country.
