Girls Academy Winter Showcase | Champions Cup 2024

HOUSTON, TX —The Girls Academy traveled to compete in the GA Winter Showcase & Champions Cup at Silver Lakes Sports Complex, Norco, CA on December 5-9, 2024. Six teams traveled to California and five of those teams qualified to advance to the Champions Cup Finals at IMG Academy, FL during March 6-11, 2025. This event was the first Champions Cup event of the season with all qualifying teams from U13 to U19 in attendance. The Champions Cup bracket matches up the country’s top GA clubs to create marquee games drawing hundreds of college coaches and multiple US national team scouts.
"Once again the Champions Cup Winter event did not disappoint and gets better each year. It is always great to have the opportunity to play in front of college coaches and US Soccer scouts," Caelyn Moore, HTX Soccer 2009 Girls Academy (Class of 2028).

ABOUT HTX SOCCER
HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area with more than 8,500 players at every skill level from recreational to elite from the ages of 3-19. The club truly represents the sport in Houston, with teams serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston. Since 2017, it has developed over 440 players who have gone on to play collegiately, more than any other club in the area, and 62 players have been selected to attend their respective youth national teams activities.
