🗓️ **March 16, 2026**
📍 **Houston, Texas**

This year’s [2026 Champions Cup Finals](https://girlsacademyleague.com/champions-cup-finals/) was another huge success for the [Girls Academy](https://htxsoccer.com/elite/girls/) as teams competed this week at the [IMG Academy](https://www.imgacademy.com) complex in Bradenton, Florida from March 5-10.  The event featured teams from the top 16 teams from Champions Cup group play.  Additionally, the showcase portion of the event featured U14-U19 teams who played against the top wildcard teams from other conferences.

"I am proud of the players for a tremendous effort across 24 games in 6 days. Champions Cup requires consistency and excellence across all 6 teams. The format is the single biggest motivation for HTX‘s GA Program, it’s what makes us unique," said Andrew Squire, Girls Director. "We are deeply invested as a program to help each team succeed. The excitement and energy around each game makes this event the best youth soccer tournament in the country. Thank you to the players & parents for their commitment and contribution to this success. Thank you to the 230+ college coaches & US scouts in attendance and came to watch us play.”

“The GA once again delivered an outstanding Champions Cup event. I’m incredibly proud of how our teams performed,” said Randy Evans, Technical Director. “From our U13s reaching the final in their first ever Champions Cup to our U19s finishing their final Champions Cup appearance with a 3–1 win over New York Soccer Club, every team competed with tremendous passion and skill. ### About HTX Soccer

HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area, with over 8,500 players ranging from recreational to elite levels, ages 3 to 19. Serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston, HTX represents the true heart of soccer in the city and its surrounding communities. Since 2006, HTX has helped more than 800 players advance to collegiate soccer, more than any other club in the region. The club has also seen 67 players selected for youth national team activities, and 17 players go on to play professionally around the world.

HTX’s elite boys’ teams compete in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), while the elite girls’ teams participate in the Girls Academy (G.A.) League, both top-tier platforms in U.S. youth soccer.

HTX Soccer is proud to be home to:
🏆 2026 U13 Girls Academy Champions Cup Finalists
🏆 2025 U15 Girls Academy Champions Cup National Finalists
🏆 2025 U19 Girls Academy Champions Cup National Champions
🏆 🏆 Back-to-back USYS U13 Girls National Champions (2024 & 2025)

HTX continues to set the standard for youth soccer development and competition—locally, regionally, and nationally.
