HTX Soccer is very excited to further expand it's partnership with [DICK'S Sporting Goods](https://www.dickssportinggoods.com) who is now the official sponsor of the [Houston Pre-Labor Day Cup 2023](https://htxsoccer.com/tournaments/pre-labor-day-cup/) which is hosted in Clear Lake, Friendswood, League City and South Houston on August 26-27.  The event will provide top competition for over two hundred teams within the ages of 9-18 for both boys and girls.

"DICK’s Sporting Goods is proud to be the official sponsor of HTX Soccer Pre-Labor Day Cup," said Aaron Pisk, Community Marketing Manager.  "HTX Soccer is a leader in the Houston Soccer community and we are excited to grow the partnership to give more young athletes the opportunity to play the game throughout Greater Houston."

"It's fantastic news to have DICK'S Sporting Goods partnering with the event," said Jason DeVore, Tournament Director. "The event is continually expanding and it's a perfect way for teams to prepare for their league play which starts in September."

"DICK'S Sporting Goods align very well with HTX and our members as they are a one stop shop providing everything you need as a family for leisure activities," said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations.  "They continually support youth sports in the Houston marketplace and we look forward to once again working with them over the next year."
