**HTX Soccer Appoints Salomon Moctezuma as Girls College Strategist**

**Houston, TX –** HTX Soccer is proud to announce the appointment of Coach Salomon Moctezuma as the new Girls College Strategist, further strengthening the club’s commitment to player development and college placement. In his new role, he will be an integral part of the club’s College Center educational team, providing expert guidance and support to female athletes navigating the college recruiting process.

Coach Salomon Moctezuma brings a strong background in youth development and college advising, and will work closely with players and families to ensure they are educated, prepared, and strategically positioned to pursue collegiate soccer opportunities. "It is a true honor to be appointed as the Girls College Strategist for HTX. I am deeply grateful to my club for their unwavering trust and support," said Coach Salomon Moctezuma, Girls College Strategist. "Together, we will continue to pursue excellence, empower our players and their families throughout the recruitment journey, and further solidify the club's reputation as the premier pathway to college placement in Houston."

“We’re thrilled to promote Sal to College Strategist,” said Andrew Squire, Girls Director. “His deep knowledge of the recruiting process and genuine passion for guiding players make him ideally suited to help each athlete find the right collegiate fit. Sal is incredibly dedicated, and I’m confident he will help our players secure the best college opportunities for their continued success after they graduate HTX Soccer.

“We are thrilled to welcome Coach Salomon Moctezuma to the team,” said Simon Boddison, College Center Director. “His passion for mentorship and understanding of the college recruiting process will make him an invaluable resource for our players and families. ### About HTX Soccer

HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area, with over 8,500 players ranging from recreational to elite levels, ages 3 to 19. Serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston, HTX represents the true heart of soccer in the city and its surrounding communities. Since 2006, HTX has helped more than 800 players advance to collegiate soccer, more than any other club in the region. The club has also seen 67 players selected for youth national team activities, and 17 players go on to play professionally around the world.

HTX’s elite boys’ teams compete in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), while the elite girls’ teams participate in the Girls Academy (G.A.) League, both top-tier platforms in U.S. youth soccer.

HTX Soccer is proud to be home to:
🏆 2026 U13 Girls Academy Champions Cup Finalists
🏆 2025 U15 Girls Academy Champions Cup National Finalists
🏆 2025 U19 Girls Academy Champions Cup National Champions
🏆 🏆 Back-to-back USYS U13 Girls National Champions (2024 & 2025)

HTX continues to set the standard for youth soccer development and competition locally, regionally, and nationally.
