HTX Soccer Appoints Salomon Moctezuma as Girls College Strategist
Houston, TX – HTX Soccer is proud to announce the appointment of Coach Salomon Moctezuma as the new Girls College Strategist, further strengthening the club’s commitment to player development and college placement. In his new role, he will be an integral part of the club’s College Center educational team, providing expert guidance and support to female athletes navigating the college recruiting process.
Coach Salomon Moctezuma brings a strong background in youth development and college advising, and will work closely with players and families to ensure they are educated, prepared, and strategically positioned to pursue collegiate soccer opportunities. He will also collaborate directly with club coaches to ensure a unified and personalized recruiting approach for the players.
He will be fully aligned with SportsRecruits, the club’s dedicated online recruiting platform, ensuring every female athlete in the U13–U19 age groups has access to top-tier tools, resources, and support throughout their college journey.

About HTX Soccer
HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area, with over 8,500 players ranging from recreational to elite levels, ages 3 to 19. Serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston, HTX represents the true heart of soccer in the city and its surrounding communities. Since 2006, HTX has helped more than 800 players advance to collegiate soccer, more than any other club in the region. The club has also seen 67 players selected for youth national team activities, and 17 players go on to play professionally around the world.
HTX’s elite boys’ teams compete in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), while the elite girls’ teams participate in the Girls Academy (G.A.) League, both top-tier platforms in U.S. youth soccer.
