Carlos Parra Joins HTX Soccer

HOUSTON, TX - HTX Soccer is excited to announce an addition to the Girls Elite Program coaching staff.
Carlos Parra will serve in the Girls Elite Program working with our U10 – U19 players. Carlos brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization with more than 20 years dedicated to soccer. As a player, Carlos has represented the U20 and U23 US National Teams including competing at the Youth World Cup in Malaysia. He played professionally in Major League Soccer for the Colorado Rapids, New England Revolution, Miami Fusion and the New York/New Jersey Metrostars.
Coach Carlos previously served as Technical Director (Atlanta, GA), Director of Girls Development Academy (Arlington, VA) and ECNL Director (Houston, TX). Prior to that, Carlos spent several years in Atlanta as Executive Director of Coaching for Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association.
Carlos holds the US Soccer 'A' License and a National Youth license. Originating from West Haven CT, he now lives in Sugar Land with his wife and two children.

ABOUT HTX SOCCER
HTX Soccer is the largest youth soccer club in the Greater Houston area with more than 8,500 players at every skill level from recreational to elite from the ages of 3-19. The club truly represents the sport in Houston, with teams serving a 100-mile radius from Downtown Houston. Since 2006, it has developed 700+ players who have gone on to play collegiately, more than any other club in the area, and 62 players have been selected to attend their respective youth national teams activities.
