September 5, 2024

The club's 13th annual [Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign](https://htxsoccer.com/bca/) is now live with 1,500 pink shirts going on sale across the club. Last year, the campaign provided a generous donation of $20K to [In The Pink of Health / Memorial Hermann Foundation](https://memorialhermann.org/foundation/events/pink-of-health). This year's program is brought to you by [Hunter Family Orthodontics](https://hunterfamilyortho.com) and [New York Life](https://houston.nyloffices.com).

Over $100K has been donated to local charities since the inception of the program in 2012, with more than 13,000 pink shirts sold and worn in the local community.

Shirts will be on sale for $30 and can be purchased through PlayMetrics - [click here](https://playmetrics.com/signup?clubToken=TG9naW4tQ2x1Yi52MS0xNDYtMTY5OTE5ODIyNnwxcWFGYVlTME10aXpkUlpZdHJ6dkYvYjBZbE5GOXVKVC9CR1kyNHVtVWc0PQ%3D%3D&program_id=19062)!

"The New York Life Houston General Office is honored to partner with HTX for such a vital cause. Breast cancer is an issue that, unfortunately, affects many around us and members of our community," said Mychael Nguyen - Managing Partner, New York Life. It's inspiring to see young athletes who dedicate themselves not only to their sport but also to raising awareness for such an important cause. The presence of pink throughout the month serves as a powerful reminder of the impact breast cancer has on countless women and underscores the importance of ongoing research to find a cure, thanks to the efforts of organizations like HTX."

"It is such an honor and a privilege to be a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign with HTX Soccer,” said Dr. Ross Hunter of Hunter Family Orthodontics. “The players do a fantastic job of raising awareness throughout October in our community. My mother is fortunately a breast cancer survivor, so it brings me great joy to see all the pink shirts being worn by the athletes, knowing that a part of the proceeds go towards finding a cure!”

"We look forward to another very successful Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign that will support a local charity that provides support and resources to those fighting breast cancer," said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations. "It's a program that continually grows each year and has become a significant part of our club by reinforcing our core value of service. I would like to thank all the players, parents, coaching staff, team managers, and volunteers for their support, and I look forward to seeing all the pink shirts on the fields in October."
