The club hosted its 20th annual [3v3 Winterblast Tournament](https://htxsoccer.com/tournaments/#1679753887962-cb3cd12b-929b)on Saturday, December 14, providing lots of excitement to close out the fall season. It was an action-packed event for all 220+ teams that traveled in from across the city of Houston.  Over 450 games, 1,000+ U7 - U14 players and 5,000 spectators were hosted at Bear Branch soccer complex, The Woodlands, TX. The event was brought to you by [New York Life - Houston](https://houston.nyloffices.com).

"Throughout the event, New York Life had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible dedication that HTX puts into their youth tournaments”, said Mychael Nguyen, NYL Managing Partner. "Their values closely align with ours, and we are proud to be a partner. We look forward to continuing our supportive relationship and helping families in their community protect those who matter most while achieving their financial goals.”

"This year saw some very imaginative costumes and an array of festival activities”, said Milton Arraez, 3v3 Tournament Director. "Winterblast is a superb event for the players to have lots of fun on first class facilities and end the fall season on a very positive note."

"The club in partnership with The Woodlands Township have continued to excel in providing youth soccer tournaments for the last 20 years," said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations. "Providing positive economic impact to the local community and hosting events for our residents to attend without extensive travel is why we continue to grow our tournament series yearly. We look forward to hosting the Boys | Girls Premier Cup events in January 2025 that are also staged in The Woodlands."

The club would like to thank the [Fine Design T-Shirt Company](https://finedesigns.com/) for providing a quality product for the members and our guest teams to purchase along with [Simple Truth](https://simpletruthorganic.com) with their on site activation booth.
