For this specific event, participants qualified based on final league standings and consisted of two (2) clubs from each of the eight (8) conferences. Additionally, for the U14 through U19 age groups, the top (2) best-performing and highest-ranked wildcard teams at the National Playoff from each age group were added to the mix for a total of twenty (20) teams per age group. The following teams had tremendous success against the best teams in the country.  The 2009 age group finished up as back to back finalists for the second year running along with the 2010 and 2007 age group finishing as semi-finalists. “The Champions Cup Finals once again produced an unmatched, competitive atmosphere, said Steven Grave, Girls Academy Head Coach.  "The GA put on a tremendous event providing elite competition for our athletes to be scouted in front of hundreds of college coaches.” One hundred percent of the 2023 GA graduation class have all committed to college and we look forward to following them through their collegiate careers starting this fall season.  ![CUP (128)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/CUP%20(128).png?width=597&height=398&name=CUP%20(128).png) Pictured above: Houston Dash Girls Academy 2009 Finalists ![Screen Shot 2023-03-21 at 5.19.10 PM](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screen%20Shot%202023-03-21%20at%205.19.10%20PM.png?width=312&height=388&name=Screen%20Shot%202023-03-21%20at%205.19.10%20PM.png)  [![GIRLS ACADEMY RESULTS](https://hubspot-no-cache-na2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/default/3023063/9a4e74d3-8670-4909-bb4c-51c2f76be727.png)](https://hubspot-cta-redirect-na2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/redirect/3023063/9a4e74d3-8670-4909-bb4c-51c2f76be727) [![COLLEGE COACH ATTENDANCE](https://hubspot-no-cache-na2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/default/3023063/5c600646-2189-4766-b791-d7e457758165.png)](https://hubspot-cta-redirect-na2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/redirect/3023063/5c600646-2189-4766-b791-d7e457758165) ![Screen Shot 2023-03-21 at 4.35.09 PM](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screen%20Shot%202023-03-21%20at%204.35.09%20PM.png?width=543&height=725&name=Screen%20Shot%202023-03-21%20at%204.35.09%20PM.png)   ![DDY_LAUNCH_SLIDER](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/hs-fs/hubfs/DDY_LAUNCH_SLIDER.png?width=3750&height=500&name=DDY_LAUNCH_SLIDER.png) Posted in [Tournament](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/tournament), [Girls Academy](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/girls-academy) ### Subscribe to Email Updates ### Recent Posts ### Posts by Topic - [Partnerships (97)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/partnerships) - [College (73)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/college) - [Tournament (60)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/tournament) - [Development Academy (17)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/development-academy) - [Human Resources (16)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/human-resources) - [Camps (15)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/camps) - [Membership (15)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/membership) - [Recreational (15)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/recreational) - [Ticket Sales (15)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/ticket-sales) - [Girls Academy (13)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/girls-academy) - [National Team (11)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/national-team) - [Professional (11)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/professional) - [Community Outreach (10)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/community-outreach) - [USSDA (10)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/ussda-academy) - [Weekend Results (7)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/weekend-results) - [Competitive (6)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/competitive) - [Disability Program (6)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/disability-program) - [Golf (6)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/golf) - [West (5)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/west) - [Academy Sports + Outdoors (4)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/academy-sports-outdoors) - [US National Team (4)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/us-national-team) - [Boys Academy (2)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/boys-academy) - [Coaching Education (2)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/coaching-education) - [ECNL BOYS (2)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/ecnl-boys) - [Montgomery (2)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/montgomery) - [Scholarship (2)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/scholarship) - [Beaumont (1)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/beaumont) - [Development Player League (1)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/development-player-league) - [Events (1)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/events) - [Futsal (1)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/futsal) - [Kingwood (1)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/kingwood) - [Player Health (1)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/player-health) - [The Woodlands (1)](https://blog.htxsoccer.com/topic/the-woodlands) see all ## Registration Sign up and pay for leagues, camps and tournaments.
