THE WOODLANDS, TX (October 20, 2018) – Cesar Cordova, U15 Development Academy attended a US National Team training camp in Chula Vista, California under the guidance of U15 BNT Head Coach Clint Peay. Two games were played vs. LA Galaxy and San Diego Surf during the camp.

The club asked a few questions to Cesar about his experience:
Q. What were your goals and expectations prior to going into camp?
A. My goals and expectations were to go out on the field and showcase my talent and skills and hopefully get called up to another camp.
Q. What were the top five things you learned at camp?
A.
(i) I need to get back and defend quicker
(ii) My decision making needs to be faster
(iii) I need to eat healthier
(iv) I must take care of my muscles by stretching properly before and after training sessions and games
(v) I can compete at the highest level
Q. What was the coolest thing you enjoyed the most at camp?
A. The coolest thing I experienced at this camp was the equipment, clothing and hospitality. Everything they provided was first class.
Q. What was the biggest challenge at camp?
A. The biggest challenge I faced in this camp was not the soccer, but flying and traveling to and from California by myself.
Q. What are your goals for the rest of the Fall & Spring season in regards to your club / US National Team?
A. My goals for the rest of the 2018-2019 season is to improve my craft, make the playoffs for the U15 Development Academy Team and to get called up again to another national team training camp.
Q. Do you have any other US National Team activities lined up? If so, where and when?
A. Yes, I’ll be attending a USA YNT identification center in Round Rock, Texas on October 24, 2018.
